And IF we can give you an early check in or a slightly later check out, then we will for FREE! These benefits are only for guests who choose to book directly with us via Stay Manchester website. 

 

We ask a couple of small things in return… please can you help the planet and our electricity bills by switching lights/fans etc off when not in the apartment and that you share a review about your stay at Lushpads or Satori on Google or social media. 

 

 If you book through a 3rd party (ATO) like Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, Expedia etc then the prices can be 15% higher than booking directly with Stay Manchester as include their costs to promote our listing. Early check in and late check outs are a chargeable extra in the hospitality industry and if you book through an ATO then these would be an added cost to your booking.

I  launched Lushpads serviced apartments in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and have been hosting short term lets since April 2008. As it turns out I had started my independent serviced apartment business before AIRBNB (that we all know and love) launched its concept to the masses!  

 

It can be hard in this scammer plagued world. No, we don’t want your card details sending directly as it is not safe. They need to be inputted into the secure HOSTAWAY guest portal. We use the well-established and trusted STRIPE to help manage securely the payment side of our direct booking relationship.  

 

We are Super hosts again for many years running and score over 9 out of 10 with Booking.com awards. No, we don’t have endless Facebook or Google reviews but the reviews we do have are genuine/don’t pay to have reviews added or removed. We hope you will love your experience and help by adding your review!

PLANS: When you book…Please let us know your plans for arriving and departing. We will take note of this. However, being able of give early and late checkouts depends on different factors…like if there are guests staying the night before your stay or what state did the previous guests leave the flat or did the previous guests leave later than agreed time. 

We also need to ensure that the serviced apartment is cleaned and well maintained, that work is done between stays. Our housekeeper Suzi really cares and will go above and beyond to help juggle requests. She needs the time to be able to present your accommodation to the high standard you deserve. 

We can confirm if an early check-in if extra time is possible only on check-in day.  Please plan for Check-in from 3pm and Check-out by 11am.  Please message when you arrive in Manchester for an update.

ACCESS: The codes to Key safes are only issued to our guests on the day of check in and only when housekeeping confirm that the pad is ready, plus you have provided lead bookers ID via WhatsApp and the Security deposit is on hold. 

HELP US: If you have initially asked for early check in/late check out, and your travel plans change, no longer need or different times; Please do take the opportunity to update us with your new arrival/departure times via WhatsApp. This will really help housekeeping with her busy day of cleaning! 
LUGGAGE DROP: To help we can agree bag drop in advance. We all know when we go away it’s great to be free of our luggage as soon as we arrive at our destination, so we go and explore, grab a drink or go for meal. We won’t charge you for this service either. 
I hope you can appreciate that we cannot promise an early check-in/later check-out at time of booking; but Stay Manchester can guarantee that we will try our best to accommodate your requests…

Frequently Asked Questions

50% of the total amount is payable at the time of booking and is non-refundable. In the event of a no show or cancellation within one calendar month of your reservation date, full payment will be maintained. Stay Manchester reserves the right to cancel any bookings due to exceptional or unforeseen circumstances. Should we need to cancel your booking, the amount you have already paid will be refunded in full. No further compensation will be provided. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more detail. Both apartments are on the first floor and the main entrance is upstairs. There is a lift available at the back entrance for Pad 1; however, due to the layout of the apartment, it is not suitable for wheelchairs. There is no disabled toilet in either apartment. Pad 2 has lift access available for building residents to use.

A security deposit is required on check-in. This is to guarantee us against loss, damage or disruption and is to be paid in cash or on a card. Photographic ID is also required from the lead booker on arrival. Pad 1: £250 Pad 2: £150 The deposit will be refunded on check-out, with the return of both sets of keys and providing the apartment is left undamaged and in a reasonable condition.

Check-in time is from 15:00 on the first day of your booking and check out time is by 11:00 on the last morning of your booking. The cleaners arrive by 11:00 when you are to depart, so you must ensure that you have checked out by then. If a late checkout or an early check-in is required, it has to be confirmed by prior arrangement. This is subject to availability and additional charges apply.

By prior arrangement, you can drop your bags off at the apartment from 12:00 at no additional charge. Please be aware that bag drop off is not a time to change or use the facilities in the apartment, it is only to drop your bags off at the door. Under certain circumstances, you may be able to quickly use the facilities, again by prior arrangement only. However, large groups will not be permitted to enter the apartment until check-in.

Early Check-In / Late Check-Out: Approximately £20 per hour depending on the day and number of hours. Prior arrangement is essential and subject to availability.

If your booking is made more than one month in advance of your reservation date, 50% of the payment is to be made at the time of booking; the remainder is due to a minimum of 1 month before your stay. Failure to pay the full balance a minimum of one month before your stay may result in you losing your deposit and the complete booking altogether. If your booking is made within one month of your reservation date, full payment is to be made at the time of booking. If your booking is made within one month of your reservation date, full payment is to be made at the time of booking via credit or debit card.

A £250 deposit will be deducted from your Credit/Debit card at the point of check-in for Pad 1, which accommodates a maximum of 10 persons. A £150 deposit will be deducted from your Credit/Debit card at the point of check-in for Pad 2, which accommodates a maximum of 4 persons. The deposit will be refunded on check-out, with the return of both sets of keys and providing the apartment is left undamaged and in a reasonable condition. Failure to do so may result in charges. Car parking is not included in the cost of your stay and any parking needed is subject to charge by external providers. Pad 1 – Oldham Street – sleeps a maximum of 10 people

3 bedrooms

Master Bedroom- 1 king-sized bed and one single bed

Bedroom 2- 1 double bed

Bedroom 3- 2 single beds

Lounge- 3 single beds.

The 3 single beds are organised as follows-2 single day beds and 1 fold-out bed

Pad 2 – Dale Street – sleeps a maximum of 4 people (+ 1 extra single bed on request & charge)

Lounge with 2 x Single day beds (max. 2 people)

Yes. All towels, robes and bedding are provided. Furthermore, there is no need to make or strip the beds on departure. Please put dirty towels and robes in the wash basket.

Yes. All items are available in both apartments Pad 1 and Pad 2. There is furthermore a dishwasher with dishwasher tablets located in Pad 1. Both apartments have fully equipped kitchens to meet all of your self-catering needs.

No. Lush Pads are non-smoking apartments. This includes ‘out of the window’ smoking. Please exit the building to smoke. We apologise if this is an inconvenience, however, this is our company policy included in our Terms and Conditions, and developed with your health and safety in mind. Additional charges will apply for extra cleaning at a minimum cost of £50. Additionally, you will be liable for any fire damage caused by smoking.
